BACON HILL

The Bacon Hill mountain bike trails, opened in 2017, are located off Vernon St in Albany Township just six miles south of Bethel village. The landowners, Larry Stifler and Mary McFadden have graciously allowed us to develop these trails on their land and we ask that you are just as gracious with your respect for the land. The trails are free and open to the public.

The original, intermediate level loop is just under two miles and we have a multi-feature playground for riders to develop their skills. A new loop, that leaves from the "playground", meets up with a woods road, then loops back to the original trail, was completed in August 2019. The new loop is now signed and ready to be ridden! Maps to follow. Note that the original loop ("Little Bacon Hill") is a one-way trail that is ridden clockwise. "Big Bacon Hill" can be ridden in either direction.

From the parking lot at Bacon Hill you can also hike up the Long Mountain Trail--a beautiful 5 mile round-trip trail.
